What is Diablo sweetened with?
Instead of sugar, sweeteners and sugar substitutes are used, depending on the product. For sugar substitutes such as maltitol, erythritol, sucralose and polydextrose, the following applies: Consuming foods that contain these substances instead of sugar causes blood sugar levels to rise less after consumption than when consuming foods containing sugar. This effect relates to replacing a food containing sugar; a varied, balanced diet remains the foundation. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
