Does the sensor need the tape to stay in place? No. According to their manufacturers, glucose sensors, catheters, and patch pumps do not require additional fixation. Our Tapes are decorative and not fixation patches: They give the device a design, not additional hold.
What are the Tapes made of? Flexible textile material that is breathable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic, without latex, zinc, nickel, or IBOA (an allergy-triggering adhesive).
