The Tape Cover CGM cover for Abbott Freestyle Libre 2 and 1 sits between the sensor and tape: thin, flexible, and permanently reusable. It makes changing the tape during the sensor’s wear time a breeze; the cap comes with 5 round concealing tapes in beige, with refills available individually or as a value pack. In everyday diabetes management, tapes are often replaced, and the cap makes changing them more relaxed.

The CGM cover sits between the Freestyle Libre sensor and tape, making it easier to change the tape.

What the Tape Cover is for

The Tape Cover is a thin, flexible cap designed for permanent reuse: it sits between the sensor and tape and makes changing the tape during the sensor’s wear time easier. The decorative tape sticks to the cap instead of directly to the sensor, so the sensor remains untouched when the tape is changed. It fits the Freestyle Libre 2 and 1 sensor.

What’s included

Includes 5 round decorative tapes in concealing beige; tapes in beige or colorful designs can be reordered individually or as a value pack. All our own products are made with care and preferably produced locally.

Does the sensor need the tape to stay in place? No. According to their manufacturers, glucose sensors, catheter and patch pumps do not need additional fixation. Our tapes are decorative and not fixation plasters: they give the device a design, not extra hold.

How often can I use the Tape Cover? Permanently: the cap is reusable and accompanies you through many tape changes.

Why doesn’t the tape stick directly to the sensor? Because the cap sits between them, allowing you to change the design easily during the sensor’s wear time.
