jewelry tapes for covering over
Cover-up tapes have no hole: They cover the sensor as a solid surface, turning it into a pattern rather than a device. For people with diabetes using Libre, the white circle is standard; here you’ll find alternatives for covering it.
Cover or frame
The version with a hole is called border tape and leaves the sensor exposed. You can find it under border tapes and Ring Tapes.
Add a protective cap
The TapeCover protective cap sits between the sensor and tape and makes changing the tape easier.
Designs and skin
The complete overview is available under tapes, classic patterns and subtle beige shades for discreet coverage under classic and subtle tapes, and skin care under skin protection.
Individual instead of standard
The tapes are made predominantly in-house and are purely decorative: They add color to your CGM sensor and express your personality. We also offer armbands in colorful designs.
Our tapes are especially flexible, breathable, waterproof, and gentle on the skin, making them ideal for everyday use. The small hole in the Libre can also be covered with our tapes: They are 100 percent breathable and air-permeable. This creates lovingly designed patterns that help kids with diabetes experience everyday life in a more colorful and cheerful way.
For kids with diabetes
With colorful stickers and tapes, kids can make their diabetes colorful and cheerful, going through life proudly and carefree with their insulin pumps and monitoring systems. Matching designs are available under Diabeteskids.
Frequently asked questions
Does the sensor need the tape to stay in place? No. According to their manufacturers, glucose sensors, catheters, and patch pumps do not need additional fixation. Our tapes are decorative and are not fixation patches: They give the device a design, not additional hold.
What are the tapes made of? Flexible textile material that is breathable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic, without latex, zinc, nickel, or IBOA (an allergy-triggering adhesive).
Can I use the tapes to cover jewelry or piercings? Many people do: The tapes lie flat on the skin and can be removed without residue, for example during sports. As tape for covering jewelry, they work just as well as piercing tape. They are intended and labeled as decoration for the CGM sensor.
