The Zähnchen® Vanilla Xylitol Candies are tooth-cleaning candies (also called xylitol candies) with real Bourbon vanilla. They contain natural Finnish xylitol (birch sugar) and are made in Germany.

Everyday use
The high xylitol concentration (approx. 99.5%) has an alkaline effect, unlike conventional sugar, and neutralizes harmful acids in the mouth that could attack tooth enamel. Consuming foods and drinks containing xylitol instead of sugar contributes to maintaining tooth remineralization. We recommend 1 to 2 lollipops daily (approx. 3 to 6 g) or 2 to 3 Zähnchen (approx. 3 to 4.5 g), or a combination of both, spread throughout the day and preferably after meals and brushing your teeth. Afterward, it is best not to eat or drink anything for 30 minutes so that the xylitol can work optimally. May have a laxative effect if consumed excessively. Suitable for kids from 3 years who can suck. Store in a dry, cool place protected from light. Due to the handmade production, individual variations in shape and color are possible.

Yes. Xylit and xylitol refer to the same sugar substitute. These vanilla candies contain xylitol and vanilla powder.
How do I convert the applicable carbohydrates into KE or BE?

How do I calculate insulin for low carb products?
Low-carb products say "sugar-free" on the packaging, but the carbohydrates are usually very high. What does that mean and how much insulin do I need for it? The carbohydrates from polyhydric alcohols have no effect on the metabolism and do not increase blood sugar levels, so they do not need to be calculated in terms of insulin dosage. In concrete terms, this means: you check the packaging to see how many carbohydrates are stated. From that, you subtract the information "of which polyhydric alcohols". The result is the number that you need to take into account in terms of insulin dosage.

How long does it take to ship my Zuckerschmuck® order?
We make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Orders are usually sent to the post office by letter, maxi letter or parcel on the same or next day after payment has been received. Please note: Letters cannot be accepted by packing stations, so always specify a normal home address with a mailbox as the delivery address. If you pay via PayPal and credit card, the credit is usually credited to our account immediately, i.e. we ship the next day. If you pay in advance, it can take a few days, depending on the bank, for the credit to be credited to our account. If you would like to shorten the delivery time, you can send us a screenshot/transfer receipt to info@zuckerschmuck.com. The order will then be prepared for dispatch immediately.
