Zähnchen® Xylit Chocolate Candies are xylitol candies with chocolate flavor, made from 100% natural premium xylitol and real cocoa from controlled cultivation, with 1.4 g of xylitol per Zähnchen. As a candy for dental care, they are particularly suitable after eating. The chocolate-flavored Xylit Zähnchen contain 1.4 g of xylitol per candy.

Everyday use
Ideally, let the Zähnchen slowly dissolve in your mouth after every meal and after brushing your teeth for the last time, allowing the saliva to flow through your teeth. Eating foods that contain xylitol instead of sugar contributes to the maintenance of tooth remineralization. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Suitable for kids aged 3 years and older. Store in a dry, dark, and cool place. Due to the handcrafted production, individual variations in shape and color are possible.

How do I calculate insulin for low carb products?
Low-carb products say "sugar-free" on the packaging, but the carbohydrates are usually very high. What does that mean and how much insulin do I need for it? The carbohydrates from polyhydric alcohols have no effect on the metabolism and do not increase blood sugar levels, so they do not need to be calculated in terms of insulin dosage. In concrete terms, this means: you check the packaging to see how many carbohydrates are stated. From that, you subtract the information "of which polyhydric alcohols". The result is the number that you need to take into account in terms of insulin dosage.
