Zähnchen® Strawberry Xylitol candies are xylitol candies (also known as xylitol sweets) with natural strawberry flavor and elderberry juice concentrate, colored without azo dyes using elderberry concentrate. Tooth-care lozenges and candies like this strawberry variety are sweetened with xylitol.

Everyday use
The high xylitol concentration (approx. 99.5%) has an alkaline effect, unlike conventional sugar, and neutralizes harmful acids in the mouth that could attack tooth enamel. We recommend 1 to 2 lollipops daily (approx. 3 to 6 g) or 2 to 3 Zähnchen (approx. 3 to 4.5 g), or a combination of both, spread throughout the day and preferably after meals and brushing your teeth. Let the candy dissolve slowly in your mouth (do not chew it) and allow the saliva to flow through the rows of teeth. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Store in a dry, cool place protected from light. Due to hand production, individual variations in shape and color are possible.

How do I calculate insulin for low carb products?
Low-carb products say "sugar-free" on the packaging, but the carbohydrates are usually very high. What does that mean and how much insulin do I need for it? The carbohydrates from polyhydric alcohols have no effect on the metabolism and do not increase blood sugar levels, so they do not need to be calculated in terms of insulin dosage. In concrete terms, this means: you check the packaging to see how many carbohydrates are stated. From that, you subtract the information "of which polyhydric alcohols". The result is the number that you need to take into account in terms of insulin dosage.

We make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Orders are usually sent to the post office by letter, maxi letter or parcel on the same or next day after payment has been received. Please note: Letters cannot be accepted by packing stations, so always specify a normal home address with a mailbox as the delivery address. If you pay via PayPal and credit card, the credit is usually credited to our account immediately, i.e. we ship the next day. If you pay in advance, it can take a few days, depending on the bank, for the credit to be credited to our account. If you would like to shorten the delivery time, you can send us a screenshot/transfer receipt to info@zuckerschmuck.com. The order will then be prepared for dispatch immediately.
