It is not a solution for a sensor that is already coming loose, because wearing it does not replace secure sensor adhesive; in that case, follow the sensor manufacturer’s instructions.

Can a band that is too tight distort the sensor readings?
Abbott advises touching or pressing the Freestyle Libre sensor as little as possible. Therefore, do not wear the band any tighter than necessary; it locks in place by itself, without clips or seams. We have no information from Abbott about the effect of a tight band on the readings.
Can I exercise while wearing the band without the sensor shifting or being torn off?
Yes, the elastic band is waterproof and can be continuously adjusted to your arm, so you can also wear it while exercising. We cannot guarantee that the sensor will not shift or be torn off in the event of physical contact or a fall, because wearing it does not replace secure sensor adhesive.
Can I wash and reuse the band after removing it, or is it a disposable product?
The band is designed for reuse: wash it in the machine at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Do not iron it at a high temperature or put it in the dryer, otherwise its elasticity will suffer.
Where may I wear the sensor, for example on my abdomen or thigh instead of my arm?
For the Freestyle Libre sensor, Abbott specifies only the back of the upper arm as the application site; the abdomen or thigh are not included. The armband is designed to be worn on the arm.

How long does it take to ship my Zuckerschmuck® order?
We make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Your order will normally be sent to the post office by letter, large letter or parcel the same day or the next day after payment has been received.
Attention: Letters may not be accepted by packing stations, so always specify a normal home address with a mailbox as the delivery address.
When paying via PayPal or credit card, the credit to our account is usually made immediately, which means we ship the next day.
