The shapes compared
Ring Tape and Oval with hole leave the sensor surface uncovered. The other shapes cover the sensor completely. Some of the included shapes also fit Freestyle Libre 1 and 2, Dexcom G7, Dexcom Flex, as well as Medtronic Enlite and Guardian. The fit does not apply universally to every tape in the set.

Freestyle Libre 3 sensor waterproof patch: Can I shower and swim with it?
Yes, the tape is waterproof. You can wear it while showering, swimming and exercising; the strong adhesive ensures that the tape stays securely in place.
How can I remove adhesive from my skin?
Removing adhesive is easiest with an adhesive remover intended for use on the skin. Follow its instructions for use, especially the information on application and contact time. You can find a selection in our adhesive removers. If you have a Freestyle Libre 3 patch allergy or other skin reactions caused by patch adhesive or sensor adhesive, our guide to skin irritation explains possible causes and what you should know about skin protection and skincare. If skin reactions persist, speak with your diabetes team.
Does the set include tapes with holes?
Yes. Ring Tape and Oval with hole have a cutout. The set also includes closed shapes.
Is a sticker included?
Yes, the sample set includes a matching sticker. The design is a surprise.

With the TapeGuard applicators, you can apply your tapes with a cutout even in hard-to-reach places without help from someone else. Choose the right version for your sensor.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
