The SCHMUCK Underpatch Barrier is applied to the skin before the sensor and then lies between the skin and the sensor. The Dexcom G7 Underpatch also fits, for example, as a Libre 3 Underpatch for Freestyle Libre 3 and 3 Plus as well as for Freestyle Libre 2. You wear your diabetes sensor jewelry over it, such as an Overpatch as Dexcom G7 jewelry. It also fits, e.g. for Dexcom Flex.

Waterproof sensor patch: Can I shower and swim with it?
Yes, the tape is waterproof. You can wear it while showering and swimming.
How can I remove patch adhesive from the skin?
The easiest way to remove patch adhesive is with an adhesive remover intended for use on the skin. Follow its instructions for use, especially the information on application and contact time. You can find a selection in our adhesive removers. If you have a patch allergy or other skin reactions caused by patch adhesive or sensor adhesive, our guide to skin irritation explains possible causes and what you should know about skin protection and skincare. If skin reactions persist, speak with your diabetes team.
What is the difference between Underpatches, Ring Tapes and Overpatches?
An Underpatch lies between the skin and the sensor. A Ring Tape frames the sensor with a cutout; an Overpatch lies over it without a cutout. This Dexcom Underpatch forms the bottom layer.
What size is the Dexcom G7 Underpatch?
It measures approx. 4.8 x 5.4 cm and also fits Freestyle Libre 2, Freestyle Libre 3 and Freestyle Libre 3 Plus.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
