Cutasept F skin disinfectant in the large 250 ml spray bottle is a fast-acting and reliable antiseptic for the skin: It inactivates germs, bacteria, fungi, and certain viruses through direct contact, making it suitable for regular use at home, for example before inserting vascular catheters, before injections, or before blood sampling. Also known simply as Cutasept skin disinfectant or Cutasept F spray.

Everyday use
The generous 250 ml size is suitable for repeated household use: Cutasept F is intended for skin disinfection before inserting vascular catheters on intact skin, before injections and blood sampling, and before surgical procedures and punctures.
Composition, areas of application, and warnings
Composition: 100 g of solution contains: Active ingredient: 63.0 g propan-2-ol, equivalent to 72% by volume. Other ingredients: benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Areas of application: Skin disinfection before punctures, injections, and surgical procedures. Surgical and hygienic hand disinfection.
Contraindications: Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes. Intolerance to any of the ingredients. When used properly, Cutasept F can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects: Mild, diffuse skin irritation is common. Contact allergic reactions may occur.
Warnings: There is insufficient experience with the treatment of infants and young children. In these cases, the product may only be used after particularly strict medical assessment and under medical supervision. Benzalkonium chloride may cause skin irritation. Do not wet skin beneath tourniquets. When using incision drapes, wait until the product has dried completely. Use electrical devices only after the product has dried. Avoid accumulation on the patient support surface. Do not bring into contact with open flames. Keep away from ignition sources. When the product is used as directed, there is no risk of fire or explosion. If the solution comes into contact with the eyes, rinse the open eyes with running water for several minutes. After spilling the disinfectant, take the following measures: immediately absorb the liquid, dilute with plenty of water, ventilate the room, and eliminate ignition sources. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 21 °C. Flammable. Any transfer to another container may only be carried out under aseptic conditions (sterile bench).
