Help with applying jewelry tapes for Dexcom G7
If you want to apply your jewelry tape, e.g. for Dexcom G7, to difficult body parts such as the back of the upper arm without outside help, we recommend our permanently reusable TapeGuard application aid .
Application: If you are using the TapeGuard adhesive aid, you can easily apply the adhesive to its plastic ring and then slip the TapeGuard, which is covered with border tape, over the sensor.
A suitable motif sticker for the inner cutout of the tape, such as the Dexcom G7, can be found here: Stickers
Tips for sensitive and allergy-prone skin in diabetics:
Do you have sensitive skin and get red spots easily from adhesive bandages and sensor adhesives, and are you prone to contact allergies? Our skin protection products can help! We also offer gentle adhesive removers for removing residue from bandages, CGM sensors, and insulin pump catheters. We've summarized everything you need to know about skin protection and skincare products for people with diabetes in our blog post "Help with Skin Irritation from Sensors and Insulin Pump Catheters."
Note: This product is purely decorative. It serves no medical purpose and is not a medical device as defined by the Medical Devices Regulation. Please also note that, according to the respective manufacturers, glucose sensors, catheters, or patch pumps do not require additional fixation such as adhesive bandages, tapes, or sensor holders.

Which tapes are right for me?
It's best to try out for yourself which tapes feel best for you and are easiest for you to apply: Here you can find trial sets with all tape variations for your sensor: https://zuckerschmuck.com/product-category/fuer-cgm-sensoren/cgm-sensoren-schmuck/diabetes-tapes-probiersets/
Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
