The Dexcom G7 Tape Cover helps you precisely apply our tapes over your sensor and easily change the tape throughout the sensor's wear time. The permanently reusable sensor cover makes it easier to apply the tape, even on difficult-to-reach areas of the body, without help from someone else. When applying the tape, the Dexcom G7 Cover sits between the sensor and the tape: You place it on the adhesive surface of the tape and slip both over the sensor. The decorative plasters fit e.g. for Dexcom G7 and Dexcom Flex. The tapes are waterproof, and their strong, skin-friendly adhesive keeps the tape securely in place while showering, swimming and exercising. The reusable TapeCover makes it easier to change the tape during the sensor's wear time.

Everyday use
Peel off the backing paper from the tape and place the Tape Cover centrally on the adhesive surface so that it sticks firmly in place. Then slip the cover over your sensor on your arm and smooth the tape onto your skin. This lets you apply the tape precisely even to difficult-to-reach areas of the body without help from someone else. You can wear it while exercising, swimming or playing, for example.

Which tapes are right for me?
It's best to try them yourself to see which tapes feel best for you and are easiest to apply. In our tape trial sets, you'll find all the variants for your sensor.
Can I change the tape during the sensor's wear time?
Yes. Press the sensor firmly onto your skin from above and carefully loosen the tape around the outside. Then pull part of the tape away from the sensor until an uncovered area becomes visible, hold the sensor firmly there and remove the remaining tape.
Is the tape a Dexcom G7 plaster?
No, it is not a plaster in the medical sense. The tape is applied over the sensor and gives it a design.
What is included in the delivery?
Included in the delivery: 1 TapeCover for Dexcom G7 (transparent) and 5 round tapes in skin tones (Beige).
What is the TapeCover for?
The TapeCover is a thin, flexible cap that goes over the sensor and under the tape. It makes it easier to change the tape during the sensor's wear time: When you peel it off, the TapeCover comes off with it, and you use it again.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
