The new adhesive aid for our ring tapes "TapeGuard" is a soft, very flexible, transparent, and breathable enclosure that fits seamlessly like a second skin to any part of the body (abdomen, arm, leg). The TapeGuard precisely encloses your Freestyle Libre 1/2, for example, and is then covered with the tape. Our decorative tapes are anti-allergenic and very skin-friendly. The TapeGuard can be reused permanently.
The round TapeGuard comes with 5 decorative tapes in discreet beige. The decorative tapes in beige or various colors can be reordered here. Would you like to add some color to your diabetes routine and make your sensor look less medical and sterile? Matching stickers are available here. These are, of course, compatible with the TapeGuard and our decorative tapes. Note: This product is purely decorative. Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
