Everyday use
Wash your hands before and after treating a wound, and gently clean and dry the wound beforehand. Apply the gel once or twice daily (two to six times daily for sunburn), without rubbing, and cover the wound with a plaster or dressing if needed, changing it daily. Do not use the gel continuously for longer than 30 days.

How long does the gel remain usable after opening?
12 weeks after first opening; unopened, it remains usable for up to 24 months.
What ingredients does Prontosan acute wound gel contain?
The formulation contains purified water, glycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, betaine surfactant, and 0.1% polyaminopropyl biguanide (polyhexanide). Also read the complete instructions and contraindications before use.
Important information
For external use only; do not swallow. Do not use in the middle or inner ear or in the eye. If the gel does get into your eye, rinse with running water and consult a doctor. Do not use the gel if you have known allergies or suspect an allergy to any of its ingredients. According to the manufacturer, side effects such as irritation or allergic reactions are very rare. If the wound swells, becomes red or painful, or does not heal after a few days, speak to a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use the gel only after consulting your doctor. For kids, use only when medically necessary and under adult supervision. Also use only intact, undamaged tubes. Store the gel at room temperature below 25 °C in a dry place in its original packaging, close the tube after use, and do not use it after the stated expiry date. As a medical device, keep the tube out of the reach of kids.

How long does it take to ship my Zuckerschmuck® order?
We make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Orders are usually sent to the post office by letter, maxi letter or parcel on the same or next day after payment has been received. Please note: Letters cannot be accepted by packing stations, so always specify a normal home address with a mailbox as the delivery address. If you pay via PayPal and credit card, the credit is usually credited to our account immediately, i.e. we ship the next day. If you pay in advance, it can take a few days, depending on the bank, for the credit to be credited to our account.
