❓ Frequently Asked Questions about Zuckerschmuck
Do the stickers hold up when swimming, bathing, and in the sauna?
Yes. Our stickers are covered with a transparent protective seal, waterproof, and UV-resistant. They last for the full wear time on the sensor (10 days Dexcom G6, 14 days FreeStyle Libre and Dexcom G7).
Does the sensor stick better or worse if I put a sticker on it?
Stickers are applied directly to the sensor itself; the sensor adheres to the skin with its own medical adhesive. Stickers on the sensor do not change the sensor's adhesion to the skin.
What to do in case of sensitive skin or adhesive reactions?
Stickers and covering tapes have different adhesive profiles. For sensitive skin, we recommend testing a tape on a small area beforehand. More on this in our article Help with skin irritations from sensors and insulin pump catheters.
