Zuckerschmuck is “Your Diabetes Online Shop”: Since 2015, we've offered stickers, tapes, holders and bags for CGM sensors, insulin pumps and readers. Sonja, who lives with type 1 diabetes herself, founded the shop.

❓ Frequently asked questions about Zuckerschmuck
Do the Stickers stay on while swimming, bathing, and in the sauna?
Yes. Our Stickers are coated with a transparent protective seal, are waterproof, and UV-resistant. They stay on the sensor for the full wear duration (Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G7 up to 10 days, FreeStyle Libre 3 up to 14 days).
Does the sensor adhere better or worse if I put a Sticker on it?
Sticker are applied directly to the sensor itself; the sensor adheres to the skin with its own medical adhesive. Stickers on the sensor do not change how well the sensor adheres to the skin.
Can you swim with the FreeStyle Libre?
According to Abbott, the FreeStyle Libre sensors are waterproof and can be worn while bathing, showering, and swimming, but not deeper than 1 meter or longer than 30 minutes in water. A Sticker or tape from us does not change this manufacturer information.
What should I do if I have sensitive skin or adhesive reactions?
Sticker and camouflage tapes have different adhesive profiles. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend testing a tape beforehand on a small area. Find out more in our article Help with skin irritation caused by sensors and insulin pumps catheters.
