Flexible Waist Belt for All Sizes

The elastic waist belt is very stretchy and adjusts to a waist circumference of 50 cm to 130 cm. This makes the pouch suitable for all ages, from toddlers to adults with XXL sizes. The pump stays firmly in place, even during movement, sports, or play.

For very small diabetic children (from about 1 year old), there are also special versions with a shorter 50 cm belt and child-friendly motifs — you can find these in the Diabetes Kids World.

Universal Fit for Pump and Reader

No matter which insulin pump you use — the pouch fits all common models. Specifically: Medtronic MiniMed (including the current 780G), Accu-Chek Spirit/Combo/Solo, Mylife Ypsopump, Tandem t:slim X2, Dana, and Omnipod DASH PDM. CGM readers such as Freestyle Libre Reader, Dexcom Receiver, or the Omnipod DASH Controller also fit.

Alternatively, you can also carry the pump in a smaller pump pouch with a clip or strap if you don't want a waist belt — both carrying systems are available in our range.

With Slit for Catheter Tubing

A small slit in the back of the pouch guides the catheter tubing safely and discreetly through — preventing the tubing from being pinched by the zipper. A small detail in the design that makes all the difference in everyday life.

Version with Viewing Window for Reading

If you want to read the last insulin dose, the current basal rate, or the pump status without having to remove the pump from the pouch, choose the version with a viewing window. The viewing window is clear and displays the pump screen — particularly practical in everyday life, during sports, and for parents of children with diabetes.

The viewing window versions are also available for all pump models and in several designs — see selection below.

Handmade in the Zuckerschmuck Atelier

The pouches are designed by us and manufactured with handcrafted quality. Made from cotton with a secure zipper, they can be easily cleaned by hand washing at 30 degrees if necessary. We use the pouches ourselves in everyday life — all improvements to the design come from real wearing feedback.

The Ideal Solution for Outfits Without Pockets

For skirts, leggings, dresses, or trousers without pockets, the waist pouch is often the only practical solution for carrying the pump on the body. It sits discreetly under clothing or can be worn visibly — both work.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Insulin Pump Pouch with Waist Belt

Which pump models fit into the pouch?

All common insulin pumps fit: Medtronic MiniMed (all models including 780G), Accu-Chek Spirit, Combo and Solo, Mylife Ypsopump, Tandem t:slim X2, Dana and the Omnipod DASH PDM. For special models or newer generations, please contact us beforehand so we can check the fit.

What waist belt sizes are available?

The elastic standard belt covers a waist circumference from 50 to 130 cm — from toddlers to adult-XXL. For the very young (from about 1 year old), there are also special versions with a shorter 50 cm belt in the Diabetes Kids World.

Is the pouch also available with a viewing window?

Yes, in several designs. With a viewing window, you can see the pump display directly through the pouch and don't have to open it to read the status or basal rate. Recommended models: Denim Blue with Viewing Window, Pastel with Viewing Window or Denim Black with Viewing Window.

Will the catheter tubing be pinched by the zipper?

No. There is a small slit in the back of the pouch through which the catheter tubing is safely guided out — away from the zipper. This is the key functional difference from generic fanny packs from the sports sector.

How do I clean the pouch?

Hand wash at 30 degrees. Then air dry. The zipper and seams will withstand many washes; of course, remove the pump before the first wash.

Does a CGM reader also fit?

Yes, alongside the pump or as a standalone pouch. Freestyle Libre Reader, Dexcom Receiver, and Omnipod DASH Controller all fit in the same size. If you only want to carry the reader (without the pump), there are more compact versions in our fanny pack category.
