BalanceOil+: Fish and olive oil in perfect balance with proven results
The scientific formulation in BalanceOil+ combines a unique type of fish oil with beneficial amounts of both Omega-3 and Omega-7, along with a scientifically certified portion of olive oil, which provides high levels of polyphenols, phytonutrients, and Omega-9, thus contributing to the increased oxidative stability of Omega-3 lipids. 4
The polyphenols bind to the omega-3 fatty acids and act as effective antioxidants, preventing lipid oxidation. 4 The polyphenols from olive oil mimic the polyphenols naturally found in fish, safely distributing the delicate omega-3 throughout the body, right into the cell membranes. The polyphenols and marine lipids work together in a highly synergistic way, allowing the body to safely absorb, adapt, and maintain the omega-3 content above the required 8% to achieve an omega-6:3 balance below 3:1.
The average omega-6 to omega-3 ratio in people who don't take omega-3 supplements is 12:1 in Northern Europe, 15:1 in Europe, and 25:1 in the US. This was determined by a study of the world's largest essential fatty acid database with more than 1,000,000 tests analyzed by the independent laboratory Vitas Analytical Services. After 120 days of taking BalanceOil+ products, the average ratio is below 3:1 in all these geographical areas.
Spanish extra virgin olive oil in BalanceOil+
BalanceOil+ is made with extra virgin olive oil from the Spanish Picual olive, selected for its high Omega-9 content and very high antioxidant content. Omega-9 (oleic acid) is of great importance because it actively supports the normalization of blood cholesterol levels. 4 The olives are collected and pitted before harvest, so only the fruit is cold-pressed. The result is an extra virgin oil rich in Omega-9 (oleic acid) and very high (over 750 mg/kg) in antioxidants (so-called polyphenols). Both have very beneficial effects on the body. 15 The polyphenols not only protect the BalanceOil+ in the bottle, but also, in particular, your cells.
Natural tocopherols
Mixed tocopherols are often used as antioxidants in dietary supplements. The natural tocopherols used are made from special GMO-free, highly refined soybean oil distillates, which are further refined to ensure they contain no soy proteins. This means no allergens are present in the product. The typical composition in BalanceOil+ is: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta tocopherols.
Pure vitamin D3
BalanceOil+ contains vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). We use natural vitamin D3 from lanolin, a natural fat found in sheep's wool. The vitamin D3 is produced by dissolving a vitamin D3 precursor from lanolin. This is then chemically modified and activated by UV radiation. The chemical process is comparable to the process that occurs in human skin when exposed to sunlight, which produces vitamin D3.
