Sugar jewelry... That's what my show about people with Sonja Spörlein from Küps is about this Sunday morning. She is 34 and has been living with type 1 diabetes for almost 28 years . An incurable disease that many people suffer from. They are all dependent on insulin for their entire lives. In order to make the modern medical aids for diabetics more visually appealing, Sonja has developed fashionable stickers and tapes. She sends them out worldwide under her label "Sugar Jewelry".
